FeelFree is designed to help you quit smoking through personalized tracking, milestones, daily check-ins, and AI-powered coaching. We collect and use only the information necessary to provide these services.

Information We Collect

Onboarding Data

When setting up your profile, you may provide information such as quit date, cigarettes per day, pack cost, motivation, and smoking history. This helps us personalize your quit plan.

Daily Check-ins

We store your daily mood and smoking status to track progress and calculate streaks and milestones.

Analytics Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve app performance and user experience. No personally identifiable information is included.

Data We Don't Collect

Name, email, phone number (unless provided for support)
Device location data
Contacts or social media information
Payment details (handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

Data Storage

The majority of your data is stored locally on your device. Some features (such as AI coaching or future cloud sync) may process data securely on third-party servers.

Local data can be deleted by uninstalling the app.
Cloud processing (AI coach) uses OpenAI APIs, subject to their privacy policy.
Subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat does not provide us with your payment details; all billing is handled by Apple.

OpenAI

If you use the AI coach, your messages may be processed by OpenAI’s API to generate responses. OpenAI’s privacy policy applies: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy

App Store & Google Play Store

Subscription and payment data is handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Store). We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's or Google's privacy policy applies to these transactions respectively.

Expo Notifications

We use Expo Notifications to deliver reminders and motivational messages. These notifications are optional and require your explicit permission.

Data Security

We implement security measures such as encrypted communications with third-party services. Local app data is protected by your device’s built-in security features.

Your Rights

You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app.
You may request assistance with data deletion by contacting support.
You can opt out of notifications at any time via device settings.
